Mel McMichael is currently studying to be a textile artist at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. She already has degrees in both English (concentrating in theatre) and Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, and weirdly enough that influences her work. 

 

Mel is originally from Prince Edward Island, but currently resides in New Brunswick. Thanks to her East Coast upbringing, Mel is always close to nature and takes inspiration from the beaches of PEI and the forests of NB.
